Part-time We are looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced part-time nanny to care for the children of a private family based in Lucerne and assist the family with their daily routine.
The family is looking for a long-term nanny who enjoys working with school-aged children, is active and responsible, and can confidently handle school pickups and afternoon activities.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Approx. 3:00 p.m. through 6:00–7:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays starting around 12:00 p.m., since the children get out of school early
- Being available on Saturdays would be a major advantage
- Some flexibility with working hours is appreciated
Responsibilities
- Picking up the children from school
- Caring for the children in the afternoon and early evening
- Driving the children to activities and appointments
- Organizing age-appropriate activities
- Supporting the children's daily routines
- Preparing simple snacks or meals as needed
- Ensuring a safe, caring, and positive environment for the children
- Keeping children’s belongings and spaces tidy and organized
Candidate Profile
- Previous professional experience as a nanny or in childcare
- A warm, responsible, and trustworthy person
- Confident and experienced driver with a valid driver's license
- Native Swiss German would be highly preferred
- British and English-speaking candidates are also very welcome to apply
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Flexible and interested in a long-term position
- Availability on Saturdays would be an advantage
