Nanny part-time 50%

On behalf of an international family based in Lausanne, we are seeking an engaged and development-oriented part-time nanny with a strong background in early childhood education. The primary focus of the role will be the newborn baby. However, the nanny should also feel confident and comfortable supporting the two older children (5 and 3 years old) when needed.

• Experienced and confident care of a newborn
• Establishing healthy routines
• Supporting early developmental milestones
• Close and professional collaboration with parents

Support of Older Siblings (5 & 3)

• Engaging play and creative activities
• Simple educational stimulation
• Bath time and evening routine support when required
• Encouraging independence and positive behaviour

Candidate Profile

• Education or strong professional experience in:
• Early childhood education
• School environments
• Daycare settings
• Confident with newborns and infants
• Development-focused and proactive approach
• Organised, reliable and professional
• Physically comfortable carrying a baby up and down stairs and managing an active toddler

Languages

• French or English (both fully acceptable)
• Additional languages (Russian, Arabic or others) are a plus

Schedule

• Likely afternoon schedule within the window of:
• 12:00/13:00 – 17:00/18:00
• Approximately 4–5 hours per day
• Not necessarily required every day
• Weekly structure to remain flexible and defined once the right candidate is identified
