Norway We are looking for a full-time caregiver for an elderly couple living in Tjome (Norway)
Key Responsibilities: Household Support
- Prepare simple, healthy meals as needed (not every day)
- Clean up after breakfast every day; occasionally after dinner
- When one partner is traveling, prepare breakfast and dinner every day for the partner who stays home
- Perform regular cleaning and general tidying of the home
- Change the bed linens and handle the laundry
- Perform small household repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs)
- Shop for groceries and household essentials
Seasonal & Safety Assistance
- Help shovel snow or spread salt on the paths during the winter
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment
Requirements
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of Norwegian is a plus
- Previous experience in caregiving, housekeeping, or similar roles is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Practical, organized, reliable, and caring
- Confident in using computers, smartphones, and online services
- Ability to handle simple administrative tasks
- Discreet, respectful, and trustworthy
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs over time
