LIVE-IN Housekeeper – Herisau (AR)

A friendly private family in Herisau, Switzerland is looking for a reliable and experienced Live-in Housekeeper / Family Assistant to help manage the household and support two children aged 9 and 11. This is a full-time live-in position in a respectful and welcoming family environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining the home to a high standard

• Laundry care, including washing, ironing, and organizing clothes

• Preparing simple and healthy meals for the family

• Grocery shopping and running household errands

• Driving the children (ages 9 and 11) to activities, sports, or appointments

• Supporting the children with homework when needed

• Helping with the general organization of the household and daily family routines

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a private household or with families

• Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented

• Kind and patient with children

• Trustworthy and discreet

• Driver’s license preferred

• EU passport or valid work permit for Switzerland preferred

• Basic English required
